Hello! My name is Tiffany Wright, and I am a passionate dyslexia tutor, and mother who wholeheartedly believes every child deserves to experience the joy of reading—without struggle, shame, or limits.

My journey into this field began both in the classroom and at home. As a Texas-certified Reading and Language Arts teacher, I spent years helping students discover their potential. But when all three of my children were diagnosed with dyslexia, I witnessed firsthand the frustration, lack of support, and untapped brilliance that often accompany this learning difference. That experience ignited a lifelong calling in me—to ensure no child ever feels “less than” simply because they learn differently.

After seeing remarkable progress in my own children through one-on-one intervention, I dedicated my career to early identification and multi-sensory literacy instruction. I use the Barton Reading and Spelling System, a structured, evidence-based approach that empowers students to build strong phonemic awareness and lasting reading fluency. Many of the learners I support—like my own children—also navigate dysgraphia, ADD/ADHD, or articulation delays. Through patience, encouragement, and consistent practice, I help them not only master literacy skills but also rediscover confidence and joy in learning.

My advocacy work has been featured in The Houston Chronicle and The Buffalo Express, where I’ve highlighted the importance of early screening and year-round support for struggling readers. I continue to offer both in-person and virtual tutoring for students of all ages, ensuring quality instruction is accessible to every family—near or far.

After nearly two decades in education, I love teaching now more than ever. Each breakthrough moment—when a student’s eyes light up with joy and possibility—reminds me why I do this work. With the right tools, compassion, and encouragement, every student can succeed and rediscover the joy of learning.
