Tricia Burdick
"Miss Tricia"

Orton-Gillingham Instructor

Certified Teacher & Dyslexia Specialist

Hello! My name is Tricia Burdick and I am excited to be part of the team at Dyslexic Einstein. As a certified educator and Orton-Gillingham instructor, I am passionate about helping students build strong reading skills and develop confidence in their abilities. I work closely with students and families to identify each child’s unique learning needs and provide individualized instruction that supports lasting literacy growth.

I currently serve as an Early Intervention Program (EIP) reading teacher, where I support elementary students who benefit from targeted instruction to strengthen foundational literacy skills. Through this work, I have gained extensive experience helping students close gaps in reading while building the confidence they need to become successful learners.

My teaching approach focuses on structured literacy and multi-sensory instruction. I have training in the Orton-Gillingham approach, a research-based method that helps students develop strong phonics, spelling, and reading comprehension skills. I especially enjoy working with students who struggle with reading, including those with dyslexia or gaps in foundational literacy skills.

In my instruction, I focus on building both skills and confidence by providing structured, individualized lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I strongly believe that every child can learn to read with the right support, encouragement, and evidence-based instruction.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and supporting youth athletics in my community.

I look forward to working with you and your child and being part of their learning journey!
